Digital Project Manager at Endava, serving as primary client relationship owner across a portfolio of 6–8 concurrent projects and leading the post-acquisition integration into Endava's global network.
The digital agency where I worked (Nickelfish) was acquired by Endava, a larger global digital organization. Prior to the acquisition, we had established a Production Support department from the ground up: a portfolio of 6–8 ongoing projects providing post-launch support and enhancements for major enterprise clients including Coldwell Banker and RCI. The acquisition introduced significant complexity, as our model, team structure, and client relationships all needed to be integrated into Endava's established global framework without disruption to live client work or team continuity.
In my role, I served as the primary point of contact across all client relationships, managing ongoing reporting across budget, timelines, and project health, while identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts. I worked closely with a Delivery Manager to coordinate our global team through a "follow the sun" model, ensuring coverage at all hours and prioritizing work across time zones. When the acquisition was announced, I led the client-facing side of the transition, hosting conversations with each client to address questions and concerns, and managing all active work throughout the transition to ensure no lapse in quality or delivery. Internally, I worked with Endava's Production Support teams to map our model onto their existing framework and facilitate a smooth onboarding for all team members.
Within six months of the acquisition, our North American team was fully integrated into Endava's global production support network. Client relationships were preserved throughout the transition with no impact or disruption to delivery. The team maintained its minimum 25% profit margin across all projects and continued to expand accounts post-integration.
