Program Project Manager at Sogeti/Capgemini, leading the consolidation of 148 legacy digital properties as part of Johnson & Johnson's OneMD program.
As part of a broader branding consolidation under Johnson & Johnson's OneMD umbrella, nearly 150 product brands needed to be folded into a unified digital presence. Each had its own website (many aging, some inherited through acquisitions, and several with original owners who had long since left the company). Decommissioning each property required navigating legal review, regulatory compliance, and case-by-case decision-making for the most complex scenarios.
I was brought in as a consultant to coordinate the migration effort end to end. When I joined, the team was following a fully waterfall SOP, each step completed sequentially with no overlap. After working through the process, I identified opportunities to run steps parallel to each other and proposed a more agile approach. I built strong working relationships with all approving stakeholders to socialize the change and secure buy-in before moving forward. For the most complex properties (particularly those with unclear ownership or legal ambiguity), I worked closely with the J&J legal team to evaluate options and determine the right path. The revised process was recognized by my manager and, after review, adopted as the new decommissioning standard across the wider J&J IT organization.
148 legacy sites successfully migrated, delivering $1.15M+ in recognized cost savings. The revised SOP reduced overall SLA times by 50% and was adopted as the new standard across J&J IT units.
